They Found You is operated by Nalonet LLC. This page explains exactly what we do with your data, in plain language.
1. What we collect
- Your name and email address, which you type into the form yourself.
- Your payment record, held by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or third-party cookies on this site.
2. What we do with it
We search public web sources for your name and email, assemble a report, and email it to the address you gave us. Your email address is also used to confirm that the report is about you, and to send the receipt.
The free check queries public breach records and public profile services using your email address. The paid report additionally searches the public web for your name.
3. Only about yourself
The report is delivered only to the email address that was searched, and nothing runs until someone with access to that inbox clicks the confirmation link. This is deliberate: it prevents the service being used to compile a file on another person.
4. Sources
We read only publicly accessible pages and public APIs. We never log into any account, never access private or friends-only content, and never buy data from brokers. The report cites a source for every finding so you can verify it.
5. Retention
Your name and email are retained with the Stripe payment record for as long as accounting rules require. The generated report is emailed to you and not retained on our servers afterwards. Server logs are kept for seven days.
6. Processors we use
- Stripe — payment processing
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and email delivery
- Perplexity — web search used to compile the report
- XposedOrNot — public data-breach records
7. Your rights
Write to support@theyfoundyou.com to request a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We respond within 30 days.
8. Accuracy
The report is generated automatically. Findings marked possible matched your name alone and may describe a different person. Verify anything before acting on it. If a report is wrong or useless, reply to it and we refund you.
